MMH and the Mediterranean Maritime Hub Exhibit at #OMC2017

 

Lots of interesting topics were discussed at the recent Offshore Mediterranean Conference in Ravena, Italy – one of the most important annual events within the oil and gas industry calendar for the Mediterranean region.

MMH exhibited at Stand F29 within Hall 2, where we were also proud to unveil our new branding for both MMH and the Mediterranean Maritime Hub.

“There was lots on the agenda for the conference, including the latest industry developments, news from across the sector, and trends from the region,” explains MMH Deputy Chairman Angelique Maggi. “The overarching theme this year was that of transition, and key topics included the Paris Cop 21 Agreement and the recent decline in oil prices, both of which promise to reshape the oil and gas industry in the years to come.”

The conference also helped to underline the Mediterranean’s role as a natural energy hub that is capable of channelling the energy flows from Africa to the European continent. “We were proud to be at #OMC2017 and to showcase both the Mediterranean Maritime Hub and Malta’s role in the exciting future of the oil and gas industry,” Ms Maggi adds.
