Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Follow instructions given by the Yachting Site Manager and discuss the daily tasks/pickups to be carried out.
  • Assist the hauling/lowering team in daily operations.
  • Carry out dives within the facility, as part of the hauling operation of vessels
  • Responsible for carrying out various maintenance duties to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises.
  • Clean and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Wear always, protective clothing supplied by the organization.
  • Keep the work area clean.
  • Run company errands as may be required.
  • Perform outside custodial duties as may be requested by the Management.
  • Responsible for carrying out various maintenance and housekeeping duties as required.
  • Assist the department’s personnel when required.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the premises
  • Oversee executing and prioritizing works related to the vessel care department and related to preparation works.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Carry out dives to inspect the slings before lifting a vessel.
  • Maintain diving equipment up to safety standards.
  • Responsible to wear and ensure that all personnel and third parties on site wear protective clothing provided by the employer, when required, according to the site procedures specified in the HSE policies.
  • Responsible for your diving gear and all the safety aspects of the gear, which includes all annual costs of maintenance for the diving equipment and any additional costs for the purchase of spare parts during your employment with MMH.

 

Requirements: 

  • Need to have diving courses to work in the maritime industry, maximum depth 8m.
  • Have a good understanding of yachts and marine vessels.
  • Have good communication Maltese/English
  • The diver will be inspecting and assisting the hauling team in positioning the lifting slings when lifting the vessels.

  • Assist the Marine Department on the day-to-day operations when required.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge on marine and oil and gas will be considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Be the frontliners and reference point both to clients and liaison with internal departments and subcontractors.
  • Responsible to follow up on works requested by Clients and to obtain all information to ensure the work scope is carried out up to the desired standard and thus ensure clients’ satisfaction.
  • Responsible to prepare estimates, technical drawings/sketches, and compile quotes.
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, man hours, timelines, budgets, costs, and expenditure through the use of project management tools.
  • Carry out site visits to follow projects and ensure they are on schedule.
  • Responsible to communicate project status periodically to all stakeholders.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks by identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Assist the administrator responsible for the documentation control by producing job/project file/reports.
  • Assist the administrator to gather the information required and complete initial paperwork.
  • Follow up on the non-awarded works and investigate why and report to the management any room for improvement.
  • Responsible to close off the job and to hand over all the documents to the administrator.
  • Responsible to keep the department’s procedures up to date. 
  • Responsible to ensure that the processes and procedures are being followed. 
  • Perform general administrative duties as and when required.

 

Requirements: 

  • Previous work experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
  • Knowledge on marine, yachting and oil and gas will be considered an asset.
  • Conscientious and responsible.
  • An eye for detail and a result driven approach.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Yard Operations Function, as necessary.
  • Manage, supervise, and coordinate the daily yard operations when operating overseas and locally, when required.
  • Act as the direct link between the client and MMH (Head Office).
  • Responsible for maintaining good client relations by providing prompt attention and courteous service.
  • Draft as necessary, a day log of on-going site operations and reports to the Yard Operations Function.
  • Keep the Yard Operations Function appraised of any delays or discrepancies.
  • Responsible to be familiar with the oil and gas materials as it pertains to Yard at the same time, is responsible for the physical reception of material, the handling/storage of all materials.
  • Keep an updated inventory and records all equipment movements IN/OUT from storage (operational yard) daily.
  • Assists the Yard Operations Function in good yard record keeping & any administrative requirements as deemed necessary on a day-by-day basis. This is to include issue of periodic reports amongst others.
  • Assist the Yard Operation Executive and Senior Yard Operations Coordinator and assume her duties during any absences.
  • Be flexible and assist other functions within the group when deemed necessary.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of the premises.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Responsible to follow up project owners on all internal and external jobs.
  • Keep up to date operational, administrative and financial records of the Function.
  • Coordinate and record function specific planning and execution of activities.
  • Assist Senior Executives/Executives with day-to-day HR duties.
  • Internal Auditor Responsibilities.
  • Perform general administrative duties as may be required.
