MMH Malta Ltd is currently seeking a full-time steel fabricator to join the fabrication, construction and installation team. The candidate needs to be capable of reading and interpreting shop drawings and able to fit and prepare steel such as plates, beams etc, for welding. The candidate will be working mainly with carbon steel.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be organised, responsible, able to work under minimal supervision, have attention to detail, have knowledge about codes and standards relating to steel fabrication and know-how of structural welding. The candidate must have at  least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

The candidate shall be capable of reading and interpreting pipe shop drawings and able to fit and prepare pipe works for welding. Works will mainly be done with carbon steel pipes.

The selected candidate will be required to manage the finance personnel team, monitor daily operations, prepare function performance reports, issue management and financial information and liaise with the Group’s internal audit committee and external auditors.

The prospective candidate needs to be a fully qualified accountant with excellent written and verbal communication skills, pay attention to detail, be organised and work to strict deadlines, be able to handle multiple tasks, possess good knowledge of computing skills and be a team player. Previous work experience in a similar post will be considered an asset.
