MMH at the Offshore Mediterranean Conference

An interesting week for MMH at the Offshore Mediterranean Conference in Ravenna, Italy, a conference and exhibition dedicated to the oil and gas industry for the Mediterranean region.

This year’s theme focused on “Expanding the Mediterranean Energy Sector: Fuelling Regional Growth” as well as the “Development of the Med Gas Hub: The Routes to Europe”. This theme goes in line with the increase in gas exploration activities happening in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Greece, Algeria and Libya. Once again, the Mediterranean’s critical role as a Gas Hub was highlighted, as it represents the bridge between Africa and Europe. “This further strengthens MMH’s position as a strategic partner for key players involved in the Mediterranean’s energy activities,” explains Angelique Maggi, MMH Deputy Chairperson.

“The exhibition served to strengthen our relationships with key players of this industry,” Maggi continues. “We were proud to be part of the OMC2019 and to showcase once again the importance of the Mediterranean Maritime Hub, together with Malta’s role, as a core requirement in this expanding industry.”
