Charting the Future: Highlights from the Inaugural Malta Superyacht Symposium

The first edition of the Malta Superyacht Symposium was an eventful two days where Government, the opposition, and the entire industry’s stakeholders and foreign representation came together to consolidate what has been achieved so far and set the foundation for the next steps for the superyacht industry in Malta. This tied in line with Hon. Minister Aaron Farrugia’s statement to use this forum as a basis for the launch of the national policy for the superyacht industry.

Angelique Abela, MMH Chairperson, spoke on 2 panels, one focused on Malta as destination for superyacht refits and another focused on Chartering the Future in Malta. Other key topics discussed were Malta as a destination for superyachts, regulation, brokerage, sustainable, and training of the workforce for this industry.
