Project Coordinator/ Estimator

MMH Malta Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator/ Estimator to join the Engineering Function.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the coordination and planning of technical projects throughout its cycle, ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves. This includes, carrying out inspections and meetings on vessels or on site to define project requirements, scope and objectives, detail review of requests and mechanical designs, enquiring quotations from various local and overseas suppliers, compiling and reviewing quotations, vetting, supporting and preparing tender documentation, developing a detailed project plan, compiling job related administrative and quality documents and drafting of job reports.  The Project Coordinator / Estimator will also be responsible to assist the Engineering Executive with the day-to-day running and development of the function as and when required.

The ideal candidate should hold a minimum degree in mechanical engineering, be computer literate and able to use MS Office, Outlook, REFMAN etc, must be able to meet deadlines and have good organisation, written and verbal communication skills.  The candidate must be willing to travel when the need arises. Experience in a similar field will be considered an asset.
