Site Surveillance Officer

MMH Malta Ltd is currently seeking a full-time Site Surveillance Officer to join its dynamic team. The selected candidate shall be responsible for assisting the Site Surveillance Chief Officer in the implementation and monitoring of security measures across all the group sites. This includes but is not limited to maintaining access control including checking of persons, vehicles and objects entering and leaving the site; protect premises from theft, trespassing, misappropriation, fire and accidents; patrol premises and quays both by vehicle and on foot; observation and  reporting of any incidents and other suspicious activities; use and monitor security systems and equipment as guided; contribute to the development and implementation of security plans and procedures; abide by and where applicable enforce company policies including HSE; meet and assist visitors and perform general administrative duties when required; contribute to team effort by  accomplishing related results.

The ideal candidate should hold a private guard licence or a minimum of 5 years of service in a disciplined force, be in possession of a valid driving licence, be proficient in written and spoken English, have good verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, be organised, able to work independently as well as in a team and be self-motivated. Holders of an ISPS Code awareness training certificate will be given preference.
