Store & Procurement Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and report to the Stores Supervisor.
- Responsible to wear correct personal protective equipment according to the task being performed, while promoting and ensuring a health and safety environment.
- Responsible to assist all stores and storage locations within MMH premises, such as main stores, dangerous goods area etc.
- Responsible to ensure that goods are received in good condition.
- Responsible to do the goods received note (GRN) as soon as material is received and reflect information in the company’s operating system.
- Responsible to highlight and report any inventory urgencies and stock adjustments.
- Responsible to always maintain and update the system.
- Responsible to meet departmental and individual targets set.
- Responsible to ensure that all assets stored within the stores work in good working condition.
- Responsible to assist the company in any new task that may arise.
- Responsible to source material by visiting various local vendors as per requestion details and sample provided.
- Responsible to issue purchase orders.
- Responsible to coordinate and execute pick up of material.
- Assist in stock and asset inventory.
- Assist in stock take.
- Liaise and assist various departments within the company.
- Ensure that product and material are being replenished, as per company demands while ensuring that adequate inventory level is maintained.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within the same industry is considered as an asset.
- Good eye for detail, highly organised and have good time management skills.
- Good verbal and written English skills.
- Goal oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Must have a driving license.
