Getenergy Global 2015 Event

The Ableman Drilling Careers Academy participated at the Getenergy Global 2015 together with another 112 companies. Getenergy is the Global Education and Training marketplace for the Oil and Gas Industry. Now in its 11th year, the Getenergy Global event is an established, and proven community of practice that meet for two days every June in London. The community includes over 45 nations focused on higher education, training and research for the upstream oil and gas industry.

This event aims to build the capacity of education systems in countries with hydrocarbon resources. By this an increase in operational efficiency through education and training of the local workforce is being experienced; this is a major priority particularly in the low oil price environment.

These discussions are critical, not only to the growth of energy companies and to the success of education and training providers but to the citizens of those countries whose current and future prosperity is inextricably linked to its energy resources and, more pertinently, to the education and training dividend which these resources can fund.
