Well Control Courses in Malta

The Academy is pleased to announce that it is now fully accredited to deliver IADC and IWCF Well Control Courses. Our focus is to improve the underpinning knowledge and understanding of well control principles, consolidated by multiple simulator exercises. “We do not teach you to pass the course, we give you the tools to be able to solve the problems yourself,” points out Bill Richardson, the Academy’s Chief Officer. In the newly refurbished facility at San Gwann we are able to present training of the highest quality and offer students a unique learning experience.

The first IWCF course was run in April, with the IWCF audit team in attendance. Six candidates attended at Driller and Supervisor Levels 3 and 4. “A professional set-up in new facilities with nice equipment. I will be more aware of in depth subjects during operations” commented one of the students. It was a great learning experience for the academy team and a positive one for those who participated.
