What is the scope of the service?

Maximize your boating experience with MMH’s expertise and cutting-edge technology, offering a true “peace of mind” service. Our professionals ensure every detail is handled, so you can enjoy the day hassle-free.

How does it work?

1. Download the App: Start by downloading our application. (Can be also carried out via our portal www.drymarina.mmh.com.mt)
2. Create an Account: After downloading, create an account and enter all necessary details.
3. Book Your Service: Once your account is set up, you can easily book the services you need—whether it’s lifting, lowering, or any ancillary service.

Is parking an option?

Clients can conveniently park their cars in our car park Level 2 and 3. This ensures a hassle-free experience, allowing them to enjoy their day out at sea without worrying about parking or vehicle security.

Will I need a Gate pass?

Yes, for security reasons a gate pass permit is required. This will be provided to you upon confirming the Dry Marina agreement, ensuring smooth access to the facility.

What is the cost to have my boat stored at the MMH Dry Marina?

For information on our ultimate package rates, we recommend either visiting our portal or alternatively visiting our offices at MMH. Our team will be happy to guide you through the options and provide personalized assistance.

Are there any restrictions on boat size?

Yes, boats measuring up to 10 meters (30 feet) and weighing up to 3 tons can be stored on our 3-tier racking system. Larger boats can be accommodated at our MMH Yard facility.

How are boats lowered / lifted?

Boats are lifted and lowered using a specialized forklift truck, ensuring a seamless and safe lifting and lowering process. All operations must be pre-booked and confirmed by MMH.

Lowering Procedure

After booking, park your car in the designated car park Level 2 and 3, proceed to the pontoon, where your boat will be ready. The boat will be berthed in the pontoon area, ready for you to set off.

Lifting procedure

Upon return, park your boat in our designated pontoon area. Upon lifting our team will rinse your boat and securely dock it in your reserved space. A photo of your docked boat will be uploaded to the app for you to view.

Is there any quantity limitation vis-à-vis lowering and lifting?

The package includes 10 lifts and lowers of your boat per year. Additional requests will be charged at €50 + VAT per lift or lower.

Will my boat be rinsed after lifting?

Yes, your boat will be thoroughly rinsed before being docked in its designated space.

Do you offer ancillary services?

Yes, through our application or portal, clients can book services like mechanical repairs, polishing, and more. Ancillary services require a quote and are based on prior booking.

Uploading documents

All uploaded documents should be in PDF format.

Payments and Renewals

Payments and renewals can be done by visiting our offices or via bank transfer. Our team will assist with the process.

Rescheduling or Cancellation

All requests for rescheduling or cancellation must be submitted via the portal or app and are subject to MMH approval.

Maximum boat height

The boat height must not exceed 2.7 meters to fit in the racks.

Safety

For safety reasons, all boat main switches should be turned off, and boats should not have unattended charging batteries or fuel canisters.
