Blasters

The candidates shall be responsible to follow instructions given by the Technical Superintendent; perform pre-preparation treatment on various structures in workshop and on-site; perform various forms of blasting works;  perform pre-wash and treatment on various structures; handle general trades and blasting kettles machines; carry out checks on respirators and breathing apparatus; carry out air quality controls as well as, clean and maintain equipment in good working order.

The candidates should also be readily available to work on a shift basis and able to travel offshore when the need arises. Previous work experience will be considered an asset.

 

Sprayers

The candidates shall be responsible for following instructions given by the Technical Superintendent; perform various forms of painting works in workshop and on-site;  carry out different paint requirements / BOQ; be able to use and maintain equipment; correct imperfections or roughen surface; store paints in the correct conditions and manage inventory of paints and equipment.

The candidates should also be readily available to work on a shift basis and able to travel offshore when the need arises. Previous work experience will be considered an asset.

 

Riggers

The qualified riggers will be joining the Yard Operations team and are required to assist the Senior Coordinator in the daily yard operations; maintain good client relations; keep yard operations appraised of any delays; carry out correct handling/storage of all material and maintain equipment.

The candidates should also be readily available to work on a shift basis and able to travel offshore when the need arises. Candidates with a forklift operators certificate will be considered an asset.

 

Welders

The welders are required to perform welding works in workshop and onsite; carry out mechanical fitting; handle general trades and welding machines and help the team in diagnosing; troubleshooting and solving welding problems.

The ideal candidates should have at least two years’ experience in a similar role and hold a coded welding certificate in ship repair materials coupled with good time management, communication and organisation skills. The candidates should also be readily available to work on a shift basis and able to travel offshore when the need arises.

 

Procurement Officer

The procurement officer will be acting as the main link between suppliers and clients; assisting in handling procurement requests ranging from general goods to specialised equipment and raw materials.

The ideal candidate would hold an A’ level standard of education or a diploma in the field and should have at least 5 years’ work-related experience, be organised, able to work independently as well as in a team, be self-motivated, have strong negotiation and customer service skills whilst being able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
